You are about to dive into the fourth issue of the first fanzine for Draw Steel. The zine is modelled after the old RPG magazines and it provides content for directors and players. In this issue, you will find:

◈ College of Deduction — a shadow subclass that fulfils the mastermind rogue fantasy

◈ Class specific Downtime Projects — not everyone can do the special things that your class can

◈ Additional Adversaries — a few monsters to fill some of the holes in the monster col- lection of the core book

◈ The Chessboard Encounter — where you combat chess pieces controlled by a powerful intelligence named Stonefish

[We also have a brief announcement we’d like to share. From issue 4 onward, the PDF price of each issue will increase from CHF 5 (~$7 USD) to CHF 8 (~$10 USD) and the SOFTCOVER price of each issue will increase from CHF 13 (~$15) to CHF 19 (~$25). When we first launched the Blacksmith’s Guild, we were unsure of the quality of work we could consistently deliver. However, as the magazine has grown over the last several issues, we grew our skills, and amassed more contributors. We are in a position where we feel confident that we can deliver high quality material for the foreseeable future. This also means that we need (and want) to keep improving — our 10th issue should not look and feel the same as our 1st issue. Custom art (like the beautiful cover of this issue), editing, design, and other enhancements can be integrated into this product to make it even better for you.
